200 acres of some of the most valuable elk hunting property in the state. On the east border of the ranch sets, approximately, 36,000 acres of BLM and Montana State property that has virtually no public access only private properties have access. And the roads inside the 36,000 acres are far and few between. These BLM and State lands are home to some of the biggest bull elk in the state and the private pieces are highly sought after and very rarely are they offered to the public, with neighbor buying neighbor before the public gets a chance during the late hunting season and winter, elk come from the mountains and cross thru the ranch headed to the many lush pivot hay fields to the west of the ranch. This area is a general season open to rifle and bow hunting not requiring a special drawing. On the ranch is a 2 bedroom 2bath log home built in 1999 it has power, septic system and water supplied by a spring. House has a basement and both floors are 937 square feet, heat is propane forced air. There is some water damage as a water line did freeze and break. A 1000 gallon buried propane tank is owned by the ranch. There is a shop/garage that has an apartment in the shop with water, power, sewer, and propane heat. Only a few miles, about 5 miles, south of Dillon on the blacktail road but yet very remote feeling.
